Dog-eared

[apologies for the quality]

Always having a good book at hand is a big deal to me, as reading is such a big part of my life, however I think I've slightly over done it of late.

In the past week I've managed to collect such a large stack of books I couldn't even tell you where each one was from, or even how much. It's like I'm possessed by some book-reading-spontanouse-shopping-fiction-lover, but hey, I'm not complaining.

So here's my bounty -

Middlesex by Jeffrey Eugenides
How did you get this number by Sloane Crosley
Invisible Monsters by Chuck Palahniuk
Beneath the darkening sky by Majok Tulba
The perks of being a wallflower by Stephen Chbosky
Kafka on the shore by Haruki Murakami
Lullaby by Chuck Palahniuk
I was told there'd be cake by Sloane Crosley

Looks like I have a lot of late nights tucked under my blanket ahead!

  1. At least I'm not the only bookworm around here! I always go to Waterstones and spend a ridiculous amount, I now just go to charity shops! Picked up some great books! :-)

I'd love to hear a review on The Perks Of Being A Wallflower, as I've always wanted to read it!

    1. I swear charity stores have the best books, I don't know why some people get rid of the books that are there!
And don't worry I've been wanting to read it for ages as well, so a review will definitely be on the cards.

  2. yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes x 100 to that list. I've just finished Jeffrey Eugenides 'The Marriage Plot'. It was amazing, so beautifully written and the story just hit me (I was reading about the protagonist's graduation day while being fitted for my own grad robes). I'm definitely going to pick up Middlesex next week, let me know how you get on! And I'm guessing you've seen the Perks of Being a Wallflower movie trailer? Opinion? Emma Watson? :/ :/ :/

    1. I love Jeffreys work, I've been meaning to read the marriage plot so good to know you liked it! I've been smitten with his work since the virgin suicides.
I did actually, I haven't seen her act in anything else. I'm sort of questioning the choice but it could be a great thing for her career if she does it right. Mind you I have to read the book first.
