The Loreal Melbourne Fashion Festival always showcases many of Australians talented and creative designers, this year has been no exception. With the likes of Arabella Ramsay and Sass & Bide appearing as regulars in the show there was a stand out designer, for me, one that I have never seen but hope to see again and again. That designer is Livia Arena the feminine and simple name is a clear representation of the collection. The dresses have simple lines that fit perfectly and look stunning on the models, but have an edge to them, which can be seen in the intricate stitching and folding of the shoulder on the dress above. The line also features sheer fabrics, revealing possibly too much but giving a floaty doll-like feel.
The Offsite runway presented by YEN magazine was closed off by the Melbourne band Alpine. The soft husky voices of the lead singers extended the magic and splendour of the show before.
